We grow local outdoor cut flowers that are available from mid June to 3rd week of September. We at Bountiful Brookfield Blooms are not a florist, but we grow a wide variety of outdoor fresh cut flowers from June until September for sale every Saturday at the Truro Farmers Market from 8 am to 1 pm. We also sell flowers and make arrangements from home for weddings or for any occasion during the summ
er and fall months. Our main flower that we grow and sell are dahlias and we currently grow 200 to 250 different varieties. We grow anywhere from 1500 to 2000 plants every year, and have varieties that produce up to 12 inch blooms to pompom type dahlias that are 2 inches big. We also grow a wide variety of sunflowers from red, orange, purple, yellow and white blooms. We also grow a good selection of annual flowers such as static, snapdragons, zinnias, amaranthus, strawflower and various annual grasses. In addition to annuals we do have a huge selection of perennials that we grow for cut flowers form astibles, penoies, irises, phlox, yarrow, rudbeckia, echinacea, hosta, lilies (asiatic and oriental) and a variety of shrubs. We also make a variety of different Christmas table center pieces during the Christmas season.
