Congratulations to Amber Dorn, the winner of our 2026 White Barn Fun Farm Pig Giveaway!

We sold all 100 tickets, and today we spun the wheel to select our lucky winner. Congratulations, Amber! You have a whole lot of pork coming your way!

Riblet & Cutlet are still growing and are expected to go for harvest around the end of October. After processing, cutting and wrapping, we expect the pork to be ready around the end of November, including bacon, hams and all of the other cuts.

A HUGE thank you to everyone who purchased a ticket and supported White Barn Fun Farm. Your support helps us continue offering programs, welcoming families to the farm and taking our Mobile Mini Farm to communities throughout Southern Alberta.

3 Male Birman cross Kittens born July 4. Looking for Their Forever Homes.

Beautiful Birman cross kittens available! These sweet kittens are litter trained and have the classic Birman features striking blue eyes, dark points, and adorable white “socks” on their paws.

A few fun facts about Birmans:
• Birmans are known for being gentle, affectionate and people-oriented.
• Their beautiful blue eyes and colour-point markings make them especially striking.
• Birmans are generally playful without being overly demanding.
• They are known for their sweet, calm personalities and often get along well with children and other pets.

Our kittens are litter trained and are looking for loving forever homes. We have gotten excellent feedback from past litters that they have the most unique personalities.

Pick Up at the farm in Brooks or can meet in Medicine Hat this weekend. Message for pics of mom and dad. Asking $200 each message for pics of Mom & Dad.

It’s Corn Fest Day at Echo Dale Farm!

Medicine Hat friends, join us today from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM for one of our favourite family events of the year!

Enjoy a live blacksmith demonstration in the blacksmith building, live music, fresh homemade baking available in the Woolfrey House, pedal tractors for the kids, farm animals, fresh corn on the cob and hot dogs.

Bring the kids, bring a lawn chair, and bring a little cash for supper and baking. We can’t wait to see you at the farm!

Good morning! Today is Alberta Open Farm Days!

Come drop in at White Barn Fun Farm today from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM. No registration is required!

We will have a bouncy castle and horse rides on site today. If your child would like to ride, please bring their helmet. We also have a couple of helmets available to borrow.

A few quick reminders for our visitors:

Please park efficiently to the left as you enter the farm.

Please sign in when you arrive, then proceed down to visit the animals.

The farm is very muddy right now, so we strongly recommend wearing rubber boots!

We can't wait to see you and celebrate Alberta Open Farm Days with you!

Horse Ride Day is always a highlight! Thank you Kristen Niznik for bringing out Rex!

And that's a wrap! The animals are napping, the barn is clean and the yard is ready for Alberta Open Farm Days, huge thank you to all of our hard little workers!

We learned, explored, laughed, got muddy, loved on the animals, and made some friends AND memories.

Day 1 of Little Farmers Camp is in the books!

We had such a fun first day with our August Little Farmers! The kids got right into farm life as they brushed the donkeys, learned fun facts about all of our animals, and got plenty of hands-on time feeding the goats, sheep, yaks and alpacas.

They also made their own farm magnets, played a round of Farmer Says, and finished the morning with a very muddy hayride!

What a fantastic way to kick off our week on the farm. We can’t wait to see what the rest of the week brings!
