Every bottle of Pulenta Estate has six elements inside it.
Two harvests. Three vessels. One blend.

They harvest the same grapes twice (early for acidity, late for concentration), then ferment each harvest in three different vessels: concrete, stainless steel, and oak.
Six components. One bottle. Every single time.

This is what obsessive precision looks like in winemaking. And it's why a Pulenta always tastes like a Pulenta.

A virtual barrel tasting? Yes, and it's the most fun we've had with wine all month.

We poured the same bottle at the same time, hopped on a live call with our community, and tasted it together. The unscripted reactions are the whole point. You don't need to know anything about wine to walk away knowing more.

The next one is June 17.

If you want to taste with us, drop us a comment and we'll send you the details.

Why does every Pulenta taste like a Pulenta? Same reason every Porsche feels like a Porsche.

Both are built by people who refuse to let one weak component into the final product. At Pulenta, that means 2,052 barrels tasted one by one, 17 per session, over three to four months. Only the best 60 make the Gran Corte.

Swipe through to see what wine and engineering have in common (more than you’d think).

We put our money where our mouth is.

Three bottles of Pulenta Estate Gran Corte just arrived from —and after spending time with Javier and seeing how these wines are built, we knew we wanted more of this in our cellar.

Six fermentation components. Two harvests. Precision in every decision.

There’s a reason Porsche has chosen Pulenta Estate to celebrate new model launches since 2001.

Every Porsche feels like a Porsche.
Every Pulenta tastes like Pulenta.

If you’ve ever wondered what it might feel like to drink a Porsche… this may be the closest thing.

She won best empanada in Argentina in 2019. At a winery in Mendoza. From a clay oven. 🫓🔥

Her name is María del Carmen Vicarió — but everyone here calls her Chacha. She’s been part of Santa Julia for years, and every visit starts the same way: one of her empanadas, a glass of wine, and suddenly you’re not on a tour anymore. You’re at the table.

Check our profile for the empanada pairing guide 🔥

Save this for your Mendoza list. Full Santa Julia story linked in bio.

A $10 bottle that drinks like $50. We found it in Mendoza, Argentina. And the reason it exists is more interesting than the price.
has been farming organically since before it was a trend, investing in the people who make the wine, and building something meant to last generations.
The wine is just where it all shows up.

Today, on International Women’s Day, I would like to highlight an extraordinary woman helping shape Idaho’s wine story: Mindy Mayer, founder of Kerry Hill Winery on the Sunnyslope Wine Trail in the Snake River AVA..

Mindy did not come to wine through the traditional path. After surviving a devastating floatplane crash that claimed the lives of five members of her family, she chose to rebuild her life with remarkable resolve.

What she created is more than a vineyard. Kerry Hill Winery is a place rooted in sustainability, remembrance, and quiet determination.

Her sparkling wine Allison’s Song, named in honor of her granddaughter, reflects that spirit — a celebration of life and moving forward.

I had the privilege of telling Mindy’s story in the latest issue of ID Guide Magazine.

It is a story of resilience, courage, and the power of starting again.
