Four Generation of Philpotts
Four Generation of Philpotts have been producing honey in the Brooks area for 100 years. In 1912 brothers W.A. (Bill) Philpott and Harry Philpott arrived in the Brooks, Alberta area from England. And in 1919 they both started keeping bees. They operated seperate businesses but bought and sold together. Harry’s son Jeffrey Philpott, took over his father’s business and bought his uncle’s business too. Jeffrey’s son Dale Philpott became partners with his father and then bought the business from him. In 2010 Dale’s sons and son-in-law, Allan Philpott, Glen Philpott and Colin McCaig bought the business to become the Fourth Generation Owners.
