Our Liberty Link PKP (Product Knowledge Plot) was planted last week and we were so happy our boys were home to help things run smoothly as we got it in the ground. Lots of exciting hybrids showcased here, including NEW Pioneer IP (formerly Nexera) Canola!

A little side project to celebrate 100 years of Pioneer! We had our local print shop whip up the design we had envisioned and they turned out A-MAIZE-ing!!!! (see what we did there🌽💚?!)

Fun fact: we’re handing out a total of 100 of these mini seed “bags”, which should yield ~2,500 cobs of delicious sweet corn!

And here we are! At the end of the 100 year timeline story - but at the start of new breakthroughs in seed development, growth, and building a continued legacy. We are happy to be part of the Pioneer family and look forward to continuing the Pioneer Long-Look philosophy for years to come.

The 2000s & 2010s were a time of major innovation in agriculture, with Pioneer advancing biotech and crop resilience.

For us, it was a season of big milestones too—getting married, graduating from university, and starting our careers. Tony worked in research with Pioneer, contributing to new canola hybrids, before we moved to Yorkton in 2007 where Tony continued his work with Pioneer as an account manager.

By 2010, we followed our roots back home to the farm near Bruno, where Tony became a Pioneer sales rep and started Kun Ag Services. As our family grew, so did the farm and business—leading us to farm and run Kun Ag Services together full time by 2016.

The ’80s & ’90s have such a nostalgic feel for us. Who else is an ’80s (or ’90s) kid? 🙋‍♀️🙋‍♂️

We were living our best farm kid lives on our families’ mixed farm operations less than 10 miles apart — learning the values of hard work, stewardship, and agriculture that still shape who we are today.

Back then we had no idea that one day we’d be working side-by-side — in life and in agriculture. ❤️

All the while, Pioneer was continuing to innovate, driving breakthroughs that helped farmers thrive — and today we’re proud to be part of that story as we serve the farming communities we care so much about.
