🍋 Double the release, double the fruit, The Bright Side and New Slang Mango are back for the summer.

With the solstice this weekend, we thought it was the right time to bring back two summer faves to welcome the sun. The Brightside is a classic Dageraad saison with the citrus dialled to 11 thanks to ample zesting and juicing of a few hundred lemons by the brewers. For those with a thirst for IPAs, New Slang Mango blends the tropical notes of a thiolizing yeast with the fresh fruit flavour of mango.

Find them both at the brewery when they release ice-cold on June 25!

🚲 Ben and Mitch went on a little bike pilgrimage to The Drake Eatery over in Victoria. 🌾 We joined the Burnaby Hospital Foundation for the Mayor's Lawn Bowling Tournament once again, eager to reclaim our title. Ben said he'd only accept first place or last place, nothing in between.

Well, wish granted. It was a honour to lose this badly for a good cause. We might not be ace lawn bowlers, but we make some good beer and we're at peace with that. Thanks for inviting us and we'll see you on the green next, year!

🐻 Dagvar · A Czech-style lager so good you'd fight a bear for it*

It's been a couple years since we let this beer out of hibernation. It pours a lovely pale gold with a biscuity, bready malt character as peppery noble hops rise on the nose. There's a light minerality too, to bring some balance to the sharper notes.

*Please don't fight bears, you will lose.

⌛ A Fistful of Entropies · One of the fringe (fridge?) benefits of the Anniversary party, we brought up a few cases of some cellared Entropy beers. You already knew about Entropies no. 17 and 29, and we've added in Progoon (Entropy No. 36), Cherry Blonde (Entropy No. 38), and Petite Sauternes (Entropy No. 39).

There's a few cellared kegs tapped as well (check the current list on our insta), but mostly bottles for offsales. Limited quantities, of course ✌.
