Hey goat friends! Alberta is having a goat show, June 20, 2026, in Olds! There will be a dairy show and meat goat show featuring purebred and commercial animals. Everyone is welcome to register animals to showcase your stock, or if you can’t show then maybe head down to Olds for the day to see what it’s all about.
We’ll be having a silent auction and 50/50 draw as well!

The Alberta Goat Association is also having two free webinars on May 8th and May 9th to get you up to speed on the ins and outs of how to show your goats. Register on the Alberta Goat Association website.

Trying to get pictures of bottle kids is like herding cats!

Now that we’re done kidding I’m able to clear out some more bottle babies knowing that there aren’t anymore to come. We have these last three doe kids, Ethel, Midge and Marie, that are looking for a new address. The youngest is now a week old and they are ready to pack their bottles and move out. Please message for more information or comment and I’ll message you back.

Bottle kids will not come with registration papers.

Breaking News: The final 2 hostages have been released!

On April 29, 2026 at 4:00pm, after 2 weeks of lengthy negotiations, it has been reported that 2 male hostages have been allowed to evacuate the premises. The only description that we have been given is they are both Caucasian males with red hair, weighing in at 10lbs each and appear to be healthy and well fed.

Reports state that the deal was finally made after the promise of an unlimited supply of alfalfa hay.

In other news, 13th winter appears to be over and spring may have finally sprung! 🌷🌻

Good morning everyone! In my area of Canada I’d also like to add, welcome to 12th winter. 😫😫 I think I can say we are all tired of the snow storms for this year. We’re at a minus 16 windchill today but soon to be plus 15 Celsius in a couple of days. Gotta love Alberta weather!

I thought we’d give a quick update on our kidding season. We are at 54 does kidded with 130 kids on the ground. Needless to say, we have been busy around here. We were lucky to find homes for 8 bottle doe kids and fostered 3 kids to other mamas, leaving us with just 4 kids on the bottle 🍼.
We also had our second ever set of quintuplets. They are all very strong kids, weighing around 7 lbs each, and are doing great! Even though mom has a ton of milk, everyone was tubed with an extra bit of colostrum just to make sure they weren’t lacking. And as much as mama wanted all 5, we fostered 2 of them out to does that had singles.

We have just a few does left to kid and should be finished up in the next week or so.

Thank you for your patience to everyone that has messaged us. We have a large amount of messages to get through and we will be trying our best to get to those within the next couple of weeks.

When all of your lady friends went to new homes but you’re left behind cause nobody wants the boys. You have to make friends with your reflection. 🥺

Kidding 2026 is underway! We’ve had 6 does kid so far with 17 kids on the ground! This means there are several kids on the bottle. We currently have 4 Boer doe kids and 1 Boer buck kid. With another 50 does left to kid I’d say there’ll be more where these came from. If you are feeling like you have too much spare time and need some new additions, shoot me a message.

All of our 2025 stock has now been spoken for. Thanks again everyone!

All 7 of the remaining buck kids have now had their profiles posted. Please let us know if you have any questions. Some people have been unable to private message but others haven’t had issues, check your settings or make a comment on this post and I will get back to you. I was receiving a lot of phone calls and messages late this summer/early fall, my apologies if I missed getting back to anyone. I do have a few recent messages to reply back to and should get back to you this week.

We will have doelings again next year and will be distributed based on our waiting list. I prefer to take orders in the spring after kidding has started. Just a reminder that our breeding stock does not go to new farms until late September/early October each year. If you aren’t willing to wait until then please refrain from being put on the waiting list so that it leaves room for others. Thanks so much everyone.

(Update: 88N is no longer available) This guy is still available. If you’re looking for a good commercial buck to add some length and muscle to your herd, this guy is for you.

117N. Canadian Purebred Boer buck kid. Born March 29/25, birth weight 10lbs. Triplet, raised as a twin. Teats are 2 by 2, bite is good. Sire is Aspen Sir Leonard 28K, dam is Aspen Nibbles 77K. I realized that I only have 2 pictures of this guy. If anyone would like more pictures I’ll be able to get some next weekend. Last 3 pictures are the sire, dam 77K a couple weeks after kidding this year and the solid red doe is grand dam 14G just after weaning this summer.
