I hummed and hawed about this little ewe for a long time… mostly because apparently I think almost every Dorset lamb should just stay here forever and her 1st home decided to go another way 😂 She’s out of one of our best ewes and GGG Limited Edition, and I’ve kept almost everyone from him so far. But the sheep barn isn’t getting any bigger, and apparently “just one more Dorset” is no longer an acceptable business plan, according to the husband.
So after WCFS, this girl will be heading off to her new home up north. Pretty sure I’ll regret this sale about 7 minutes after she leaves 😂

Well sometimes things don’t go as planned. I was planning to keep this ram lamb for the 2027 Classic, but today he received a deposit. Apparently nobody told him he was supposed to stay home. 😂

It has taken me years, and a lot of puzzle pieces falling into place, to build a Dorset flock that I am truly proud of. From carefully selecting genetics to making tough decisions along the way, every step has been worth it. I am extremely proud to be a registered Dorset breeder, and even prouder to see animals we’ve raised go on to new opportunities.
I hope Flying Dirt Paycheck 52P does amazing things for his new flock, and I can’t wait to see the impact he makes in the future, and we cant wait to see his lambs in the 4H showring !
Even if he did ruin my 2027 plans a little. 😉

Fallon will still get to show him at WCFS before he heads to his new home.
