Downey's Farm has been owned by the Downey family since 1920. In 1987, the family opened a roadside corn stand where the children sold sweet corn to pay for hockey equipment. By the 1990s, the dairy barn was renovated to house a farm market and bakery. Today, Downey's Farm is home to a playground, lots of animals, an award-winning winery, and a fudge company!

One of our favourite signs that fall is just around the corner: the Downey’s Farm Corn Maze opens September 4!

Get ready to wander, explore, make a few wrong turns (that’s half the fun 😉) and see if your crew can find their way out of our 2026 corn maze in Caledon, Ontario.

GOOD NEWS! 🚗💚 Heart Lake Road has RE-OPENED!

If you’ve been visiting us recently, you know the ongoing road construction has made getting to Downey’s Farm a little trickier - particularly for guests travelling to us from the south.

We’ve just received word from the Region of Peel that Heart Lake Road is now fully OPEN again, making your trip to the farm much easier! 🙌

So whether you’re heading our way for some end-of-summer Farmyard Play Area fun, a stop at the Farm Store, or planning your upcoming fall visit - your regular route along Heart Lake Road is back.
