Liam (2026) - IPA

My wife and I had our first kid in 2020. His name is Liam. He’s now 6!

To mark the occasion, we named the next unnamed b**r in the schedule after him. He’s getting older these days! He has lots of opinions and lots of questions. So we thought it was time to give him some creative control over his own b**r!

When he was 4 we asked Liam to redesign both the label and the hops in the recipe to whatever his little heart desired. He tackled this assignment with vigorous enthusiasm and redesigned the label to have a “blue dino” on it and the b**r to be hopped with Nelson Sauvin, Riwaka and Sabro hops (selected by laying out all hop names on paper on the ground and telling him to pick 3!)

It’s a beautiful label and a great recipe that we couldn’t be more proud of him coming up with. We love ya buddy!

🦉 Shelf Premium (1792 A. SMITH BOWMAN) - Double Bourbon Barrel Aged Imperial Stout 🛢️

Shelf Premium is our double barrel aged stout series.

For this version we aged our base stout in a 1792 bourbon barrel for 23 months, before transferring it to an A. Smith Bowman bourbon barrel to be aged an additional 18 months for a combined 41 months of total aging time in fresh dump bourbon barrels.

The result is a truly sublime and delectable example of why double barrel aging can provide unrivaled and unique character to stout. We hope you love it!

As the great Canadian singer, song writer, and actress Avril Lavigne once said “i’m startin’ to trip, losing my grip and i’m in this thing alone.” What does this have to do with this b**r/label? Absolutely nothing.

Hopped with Citra, Mosaic and Sabro we taste a medley of oranges, coconut, tropical fruit and some hints of lychee.

For October we wanted to blend Peacharine with Tropical Fusion (a true Freestyle Hops in-field Blend that includes Riwaka, Southern Cross and Motueka).

Both are from Freestyle Hops and both are exquisite.
The result is a melange of nectarine, peach, and soft full bodied exotic citrus
