🍂❄️ Getting the Farm Ready for Winter! 🐝🐔
With winter approaching quickly, it’s time to make sure all our farm friends are settled in and ready to stay cozy through the cold days and nights ahead! 🏡❤️
Our delicate little bees need some extra TLC this time of year. 🐝 That’s why we’ve been busy making homemade fondant patties to give them a little extra nourishment throughout the winter. We want to help ensure they have enough food to make it through until spring arrives and they can venture out again on those warmer days. 🌷
Our chickens are getting their winter upgrades, too! 🐔 Their coop is being insulated, and we’re making sure they have heated waterers to keep their drinking water from freezing when temperatures drop. Chickens are surprisingly hardy little creatures and generally handle the cold much better than our tiny, precious bees do!
There’s always something to do around the farm, and preparing for winter is just another part of caring for the animals that make this place so special. ❤️🌾
Now, if only we could convince winter to take its time getting here! 😂❄️
