Local Calgary artist Chipewyan “Chip” McCrimmon (Nunï) designed the latest growler. Come meet the artist, check out the new growler design along with more of his art!
Growler fills will be $10 all day.

Chipewyan “Chip” McCrimmon, traditional name Nunï (“Wolf”), is a Dené artist from Deninu Kųę́ First Nation in Treaty 8 Territory, Northwest Territories. Born in Toronto and raised in Saskatchewan, Chip’s journey has taken him across Canada and the United States before settling in Calgary in 2023. He holds degrees from Brock University and Queen’s University and has been creating one-of-a-kind commissioned artwork since 2016, with his work exhibited across Canada and recognized by the Ontario Arts Council.
Deeply rooted in his Indigenous heritage, Chip’s art explores climate change, the beauty of the natural world, and humanity’s responsibility to care for Mother Earth. Inspired by teachings passed down through hunting, fishing, and trapping in northern Saskatchewan, his work encourages reflection on our relationship with the environment and the animals we share it with. Proudly carrying forward the legacy of his family, including his grandfather, a residential school survivor, and his great-great-grandfather, Treaty 8 signatory Paulette Chandelle - Chip strives to honour his people and share their teachings through his art.
