These ladies are loving it outside and are really good at eating the grass and weeds. Can't wait for them to start laying, but still at least a couple more months until they do.

New egg layers are finally ready and outside. They get to hang out in the chicken tractors we made for the meat chickens until they are close to laying in August.

All the new egg layers are growing and happy, starting to get feathers now. Thankfully only lost a few in the first weeks and the super cold few nights we had right away.

New chicks have arrived, which means these ones should be laying eggs mid summer. We will let people know as soon as we have eggs again. Praying we can keep them warm enough this coming weekend as temperatures are expected to hit -19 according to my phone, and without a heated garage we hope the heat lamps will be enough with our brooder tarped.

Our final round of chickens are finally up on the website. All 3-6 lb birds this time. We will have half birds on the site soon as well, in our tires state at 2 in the morning we forgot to weigh them and price them, you can message me if you are interested in halved birds.

We also still have some larger birds left from earlier this year as well which are 10% off.
