While I'm busy making some orders for this weekend, I thought I'd do Fun Fact Friday!

I believe I've shared this in the past, but for anyone new or maybe you just forgot 😄. If you coat your fruit with a little flour before adding it to your dessert, it prevents some of the fruit juices from spreading 😊. It also helps with the structure of your dessert!

This was a first for me. A dairy free Cheesecake! With a Blackberry compote 😊. I definitely learned that they do not cook the same as regular ones 😅. Order done!

It's been awhile since I've done Fun Fact Friday, Baking addition! So here it is!

Fun Fact: Did you know coffee enhances the chocolate flavor? So if you're making a chocolate cake, brownies, or anything out of chocolate. Adding either a little brewed coffee or a small amount of espresso powder enhances that chocolate taste!
Just make sure you use decaf if you're making it for your kids 😂.

It finally feels like summer is coming! And to me the perfect spring/summer flavor is Lemon!

Sorry for the lack of posts lately 😞. My household has been sick, so I haven't had the energy to do anything 😂.

But I wanted to share a cake I did recently, this is my Russischer Zupfkucken. A German cheesecake with a chocolate dough crust. This cheesecake is what made me start Unique Bakes!
Because it's impossible to find one in the city, or at least as good 😁. So I wanted to start baking to share my unique desserts 😊.

These are my Lemon Raspberry Squares, and I'm trying to decide if I keep them on my menu. I know summer is coming, so should I do a summer theme? Or should I do a square for year round?
I was thinking of a Brownie Cheesecake Square, or just a simple lemon square. Let me know! ☺️
