In 1986, Patrick joined “Exclusive Gourmet Food” as a fresh-faced sales rep, dreaming of bringing top-tier cuts to dinner tables everywhere.

Fast forward to 2018: when the original owner retired, Patrick and his partner seized the moment—rebranding the business as The Meat Guyz and launching a premium, door-to-door service for meat, poultry, and seafood.

Enter Elena: with her knack for organization and a spark of new ideas, she helped streamline operations just as demand exploded.

When the pandemic struck and grocery shelves ran dry, The Meat Guyz became more than a convenience—they were a lifeline. “We were there when people needed us most,” Patrick reflects.

Today, we source locally in Alberta, vacuum-seal for zero waste, and use smart inventory tools.

In 2025, we proudly earned the Golden Door Award for excellence in product, service, and operations.
