A new Alberta tradition has begun.

The votes are in. Burwood Distillery’s The Smooth Talker Bur-Bon Style Wh**ky has been chosen as the first-ever Alberta Heritage Series Collectors’ Edition.

Launched at the Canadian Thoroughbred Horse Society of Alberta Fall Classic at Century Mile, the Alberta Heritage Series is a partnership celebrating Alberta wh**ky, craftsmanship and Thoroughbred racing.

Smooth and sweet with subtle floral notes and a spicy grain finish, The Smooth Talker earned the most votes.

Cowboy Trail Brewery is proud to be the Title Sponsor of the Cochrane Lions Rodeo as it celebrates an incredible 60 years of rodeo tradition.

To mark the milestone, we partnered with the Cochrane Rodeo to create Rodeo Pilsner, celebrating the rodeo, its history, and western tradition.

Cowboy Trail Brewery is looking for a Part-Time Sales & Office Administrator to join our team and support our continued growth.

Working closely with our Director of Sales & Marketing, this role combines administration, customer support, and light sales responsibilities.

Responsibilities:

- Maintain and update our customer/account database
- Enter and organize sales and operational data
- Maintain sales reports, spreadsheets, records, and digital files
- Assist with customer emails and sales follow-ups
- Schedule meetings, customer visits, and sample drop-offs
- Make follow-up and sales calls to liquor stores, restaurants, and other accounts
- Help keep sales opportunities and customer information organized and current
- Provide general administrative support to sales and marketing
- Occasionally assist with events or tastings when available

What We’re Looking For:

- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
- Confident and professional on the phone and by email
- Comfortable making outbound sales calls
- Able to work independently and manage priorities
- Comfortable with spreadsheets and general office software
- Previous administrative, customer service, or sales experience is an asset

Position Details:

- Part-time — approximately 3-4 days per week
- Primarily remote/work-from-home (flexible hours)
- Bragg Creek & surrounding area preferred
- Occasional events/tastings
- Mileage reimbursed for approved company travel
