To all you CSFoodies out there, THANK YOU for another unforgettable 10 days of Taking a Bite Outta Stampede!

From Crunchy Samosa Chaat and Seoul Stampede Fries to giant Inari sushi, birria taco bombs and all the mini donuts, corn dogs and lemonade we could handle, you really ate your way through the Calgary Stampede this year.

We hope your eyes were as big as your stomachs, that you discovered a few new favourite foods and exhibitors, and that you’ll be back to do it all again in 2027!

That’s our crew hard at work on curated food tours, helping guests take a bite outta Stampede with stops featuring snacks and sips already on our radar.

When hungry groups want to find some of the best bites on the Midway, we’re ready with the aprons, the oversized cutlery and a solid game plan.

Your childhood snack just entered its iced latte era.

We caught up with a Calgary Stampede guest trying the Dunkaroo Iced Latte from Covet Sweets + Sips—a creamy, dessert-inspired drink topped with a Dunkaroo-flavoured soft cloud, sweet frosting flavour and plenty of sprinkle nostalgia.

First year at the Calgary Stampede, and Dirty Sodaz is already bringing the good stuff.

Their No. 1 seller is the Hollywood Tan—a Coke-based dirty soda with vanilla creamer, coconut syrup, vanilla syrup and fresh lime.

But the new feature getting all the rodeo-ready attention is the Cotton Candy Cowgirl: cotton candy Sprite with vanilla cream, strawberry cold foam and a cloud of floss on top.

When the pavement is too hot and the Midway crowds are a little too much, head downstairs to The Range Food Hall on the lower level of the Big Four Building.

There’s lots of seating, lots of food and plenty of exhibitors serving up cool treats, savoury finds and more.

They did skimp on one thing, though: the lineups!

Take a break from the heat, grab a bite and cool down in the air conditioning before heading back out to the Calgary Stampede grounds.

“We’re not cheap here at Amedeo’s.”

And when the buffalo mozzarella goes on in slabs like that, you understand exactly what he means.

The Amedeo Special is stacked with capocollo, mortadella, Calabrese salami, Amedeo’s signature roasted red pepper spread, arugula, balsamic drizzle and fior di latte.

They’re from Okotoks, but worth the try now so you can justify the drive down later!

Bada bing, bada boom.

Find them inside The Marketplace at Booth FM016, just across from the Taste of Stampede stage.

We asked a few of the crew from HMCS NCSM Tecumseh for their favourite Stampede snacks, and they came prepared.

The picks?

Deep fried Oreos.
Mini donuts.
Deep fried cheese curds.
Deep fried pickles.

A very strong lineup, honestly.

And yes, pickle pizza came up too — highly recommended, even if not everyone has tried it yet.
