🍂✨ **Thanksgiving Giving at A&W Auburn Bay!** ✨🍂

This Thanksgiving, we want to spread warmth and kindness in our community! We’re excited to announce our initiative where you can nominate individuals in need of a warm meal this holiday season.

🥧 **How It Works:**
1. **Nominate an Individual:** Tag or mention someone who could use a little extra love this Thanksgiving in the comments below.
2. **Selection:** We’ll select **5 deserving individuals** to receive a delicious warm meal on us!
3. **Pickup:** Winners must be able to pick up their meal at our restaurant.
4. ** Announcing:** We will announce who the 5 individuals are on Saturday evening.

Let’s come together to make this Thanksgiving special for those who need it most. ❤️

Nominate someone today and help us spread the joy of giving!

Happy Teachers Day! We are proud to be a part of this amazing school and community.

🌿 National Day for Truth and Reconciliation 🌿

Today, we honor the resilience of residential school survivors, their families, and communities. Let us remember the children who never returned home and commit ourselves to understanding their stories. Together, we can pave the way for healing and a brighter future.

Supporting One of Our Own ❤️

**Join Us in Supporting Richard and His Family**

For the past 14 years, Richard has been an invaluable member of the ABRA team, dedicating himself wholeheartedly to our Auburn Bay community. Today, we need your help as this family faces an unimaginable loss—the sudden passing of their youngest daughter.

Special Combo Day: Wednesday, September 16

We will be hosting a special **Combo Day** to support Richard and his family. Here’s how you can contribute:

$2 from every combo sold will go directly to Richard’s family, including all orders made through third-party apps.
A&W Auburn Bay will match 100% of all cash donations received that day, doubling the impact of your generosity.

While nothing can alleviate the heartbreak this family is enduring, your support can help ease some of the burdens that come with such a tragic event. This is our chance to take care of Richard and his family by showing him just how much our community cares.

**A Note on Privacy**
We kindly ask everyone to continue respecting the family’s privacy as they navigate this difficult time. Your kindness and support mean the world to Richard and his family.

Thank you for your generosity and for standing with us in this moment of need.

The Mahogany Community Association is launching our Ride Safe initiative for the remainder of the summer. With generous support from Auburn Bay A&W, our board will be around Mahogany handing out free large Root B**r coupons to community members who are riding safely.

Riding safe around the community can look like many things, including wearing a helmet, obeying traffic rules, looking out for one another, and making thoughtful choices as you get around our neighbourhood.

You may see us around on our MCA yellow motorbike, near schools and playgrounds, or walking the wetlands with our dogs. Either way, we will be on the lookout and encouraging safe riding.

Here are some of our board members you will see around the community:

Thank you Auburn Bay A&W for supporting this initiative, and ride safe everyone!
