You know, we’re pretty blessed in this city and province to have a lot of health-minded and motivated people to produce and/or source for us some pretty fantastic products.
All of these products come from amazing people right here in Calgary and Alberta, and many of them are among my favourites.
In fact, I’m pretty sure I have almost all of them at home.
In a time when big business is gobbling up all the little guys, including once trusted supplement and health food brands, it’s more important than ever to support these locally owned companies that remain committed to their original ideals.
We support the longevity of their brand and we support our local economy rather than taking more and more money out of Alberta and giving it to large corporations who really don’t have our best interests in mind.
We know that as prices rise, wallets get thinner, but every effort counts.
How we spend our money matters.
How we treat our bodies matters.
It starts with each and every one of us.
