When I was a child, we would often go for a drive after supper and "dropped in" on my grandparents for a visit. As I got older I was able to help set the table
and put out the treats. We got to use china cups and fancy plates and eat squares and cookies and cakes. One visit she exclaimed "I must have known you were coming!" Everything she made that day was chocolate. We would sit at the table, visit, drink tea, eat delicious treats and when we were done, Grandma would bring out the gallon pail of ice cream and her famous secret recipe chocolate sauce. We could feast to our heart's content. It's my fondest memory of my Grandma Charlotte and Grandpa Bud.
