Lone Valley Farm Ltd We run a regenerative sheep farm raising Dorper sheep for meat and breeding stock. We breed our flock for meat and breeding stock sales.

We pair this with our butcher shop operation just outside of Arrowwood, supplying home grown lamb and beef,pork and chicken from local farms. Lone Valley Farm is located just outside of Arrowwood, AB where we run a regenerative sheep farming operation.. Our flock is a made up of Purebred White Dorper and Commercial Dorper haired sheep. We run just over 400 sheep on our farm and are actively expand

ing! The sheep are well protected by three livestock guardian dogs, Simon, Henry and Gloria. Rosie our Border Collie helps to rotate our flock as they graze on the lush grasses of the valley with which we reside. In the winter our flock enjoys our home grown silage and hay bales or grazing on crop regrowth from our silage crop. Our lambs are raised and finished on home grown forage and grains and processed at a local abattoir 15 mins from our farm.

Well the last 3 days have been a love hate relationship. Love it for the crops but hate it for the livestock. 5" plus makes for muddy pens, wet and wind chilled sheep. We moved everyone inside that we could and the rest we tried to find a high spot out of the mud and wind.

We are excited to announce we have finalized the purchase of a lot and plan to build a new meat shop starting 2026.
This building will expand our production space and cool storage, so we can expand our product offerings and get into more stores.
