It’s actually the ONLY way I’ll do it now!
This method helps me save time, make the most of quiet days and allows me to keep different flavours on hand, for fresh cookies whenever I need them
Once the dough is made, portioned and weighed into cookie dough balls, it goes straight into the FREEZER
No fridge time, and then I bake straight from frozen
The freezer helps to:
💛Firm up the butter fast (butter goes into the dough cold, straight from the fridge)
💛Controls the spread when they go in the oven
💛Keeps cookies thick without drying them out
💛Saves TIME & stress (a big bonus for home bakers + sellers)
💛 Reduce waste because you only take out & bake what you need
This way, I can build up a supply of different flavours and store them in my freezer
Then I have cookies ready to go in the oven and bake
It means I could say yes to last minute & large orders
Or bake my friends & family a cookie whenever they have a craving
