Our boxed lunches fuelled a lot of adventures this summer. Out on fishing trips, along for bachelorettes, packed for hikes and aboard whale watching boats.

Lately, we’ve been feeding adventurers heading out with Creek2Coast Paddlesports | Kayaking Campbell River, a new outfit here in Campbell River.

On October 25, they’re heading out by boat from Campbell River for guided sea kayaking in the Discovery Islands and Desolation Sound, stopping for lunch on the coast, and you guessed it, lunches are from More Eatery!

Laichwiltach Family Life Society has a full day planned in Campbell River for the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation. Here’s the schedule if you’d like to go:

11 am | Gather at Spirit Square, then walk to Kwanwatsi Big House

At the Big House:

11:30 am | Blessing and welcome of Survivors
12:30 pm | Lunch
12:45 pm | Honouring Survivors
1:30 pm | Traditional dances
3 pm | Closing speeches

4 pm | Hereditary Chief Robert Joseph speaks at , with a Q&A to follow. The talk is presented in partnership with Laichwiltach Family Life Society.
