Hello everyone sorry I haven been posting or cooking lately for the people. Life has been pretty hard this past while and I just want you to all know I haven't gone nowhere and will be back cooking hot food for the people in need once I have a more stable ride to get to them. Good day to everyone out there. Just wanted to say thank you to the k'omox first Nation for letting me be apart of indigenous day in courtenay yesterday It was a beautiful time with lots of beautiful people and a big thanks to the butcher block for the quality meat they provided and the help from Taija mclucki for helping with the funding to make this day happen. Also thank you to my Sue chef Steve and a huge thank you to Elissa Sharkey for managing the front of house for me your a rock star girl. And to everyone that stopped in to support me with this work by donating what they could to help bring more bbqs to the people in need my heart is full which means their bellies will be full from the love and generosity of the people that put what they could in the help me with this THANK YOU SO MUCH. I will keep doing this work with all my heart and soul to to make sure they know someone cares and loves them even though we don't know them. Be safe be kind and spread the love baby. Sorry I didn't take and Pic or videos I was super busy and didn't have time to . So if any one has any Pic or videos of The Hungry Cook please could you send me them thank you. Hey all you beautiful people. I'll be hold a fundraiser tomorrow on the fair grounds where they hold music fest in courtenay. I'll be there as The Hungry Cook raising money to keep feeding hungry people at there camp sites here in courtenay, comox and campbell river Come on down and show your support by getting a delicious hamburger brought to you by the butcher's block. Also I want to thank everyone that has had a hand in helping me do this work without you all I couldn't do what I do so thank you. And a big thanks to Ken price and the k'omox first Nation for helping me make this happen.

Sorry everyone for not posting lately or being out cooking for the people I have spent many days doing this with my own money and can only keep doing with the help from others. For the mean time I have to focus on my kids and making sure their ok and have what they need.. it's hard for me to put The Hungry Cook aside but know my heart is here with you all that are on the streets and that I haven't forgot about yous guys and gals friends and family. For those that don't know I'm having a hard time as most of you all are going through the same hardships and will be back with good food for the ones I can reach soon.
