That means we can tell you which farm it came from, what it ate, which veterinarian oversaw its health care, and which vessel harvested it. Our global traceability system runs through the entire value chain, from hatchery to processing facility to retailer. As farmers we are proud to offer that level of transparency for your food. Part of a strong Canadian food system starts with accountability at every step.

We get a lot of questions about what we feed our salmon. It's approximately 70% plant-based ingredients including wheat, soy, corn, and peas. The remaining 30% is marine ingredients that's sourced exclusively from MSC or MarinTrust certified sustainable fisheries.

Every ingredient serves a purpose to the health and quality of our fish. The marine components are essential for the omega-3 fatty acids that make salmon one of the most nutritious proteins a person can eat.
