We caught up with James Franey, JAK’s Buying Director, at our Summer Social to get the spill on the best beverages you need this summer at JAK’s Kitsilano — and all ten JAK’s locations 🍷

🌟 Most exciting new product:

Please Beverage Co. Guava Gin Fizz — super refreshing with guava, passion fruit and vanilla. Goes down almost too easy.

🍷 BC favourite:

Terravista Verdejo — the only Spanish varietal grown in BC. Delicate, refreshing and perfect with prawns, a picnic, or sushi.

💎 Hidden gems:

Sea Star Ortega & Kutatás from Saltspring Island — incredible whites, orange w**es and Pinot Noir straight from the Gulf Islands. Seriously underrated.
Come find these and more at JAK’s Kitsilano or your nearest JAK’s location 👇

Beach day, patio, or dinner with friends — what are you bringing? 🌞🍷

We asked the JAK’s Kits team and here’s what they said:

Kam 🍸 A Negroni with a nice vermouth — that’s the patio drink.

Dan 🍷 A chilled Gamay or Cru Beaujolais — versatile enough for burgers, steak, or ribs.

Maria 🍾 Tantalus Riesling — the 2025 vintage just landed and she’s so excited to try it.

Ethan 🥂 Contratto Alta Langa sparkling w**e from Italy — he’s really into bubbles right now.

Come meet the team in person this Saturday June 20th at our Summer Social 🎉

Experience the elegance of the Okanagan Valley with the newly arrived 2025 Pinot Blanc from Blue Mountain W**ery

Hand-harvested from 40-year-old vines, this w**e underwent 100% native yeast fermentation and was crafted in a blend of foudre oak casks, neutral barrels, and stainless steel. The barrel-aged portions rested sur lie for five months to add depth.

It delivers vibrant notes of pear, lemon, and delicate florals, leading to a touch of minerality and almond on the finish. You’ll love it paired with soft cheeses, creamy garlic scallops, or roast chicken.
