Thank you to Discovery Strength & Conditioning for welcoming our Pathfinders for an introduction to Teen Strength training! 💪

Last night, for their first meeting of the year, Pathfinders enjoyed an evening of fitness, games, and teamwork while building strength, coordination, and confidence with Coach Katie. The gym was full of energy as they cheered each other on and took on the Mission Impossible Challenge.

The Guiders were impressed by the encouragement, teamwork, and determination shown throughout the evening. Thank you for providing such a fun and positive experience! 🌟💙

As we approach another cookie season the Girl Guides of Canada-Campbell River District wants to remind you to stay vigilant when purchasing cookies online or even better purchase from a youth member that may knock on your door later this month.

Smart cookies, support your local Girl Guides & watch for anyone trying to crumble your cookie plans! We've seen recent scam attempts in several areas of BC as unrelated users try to use the strong reputation of Girl Guides of Canada to create new Facebook accounts, join community groups, & solicit e-transfers or other payment for cookies - without any connection to Guiding or ability/intention to fulfill those orders.

We want YOU to be rewarded for your kindness with yummy chocolatey mint Fall cookies in exchange! Here's how to make sure you're supporting girl empowerment:

A shining example is Tanille Johnston, who empowered the 1st Campbell River Pathfinders/Rangers with a thought-provoking discussion on the importance of women's and underrepresented voices in politics.

Registration for Girl Guides of Canada is almost here, and we want you to be ready! Every year, Campbell River District youth sit on a waitlist due to volunteer shortages or not registering when the opportunity opens.

Save these dates:
📅 May 4 — Returning members (same unit)
📅 May 20 — Returning members (new unit)
📅 June 8 — New members

Please note that due to a volunteer shortage, there are 3 units that may not continue to run next year without you. Please reach out to [email protected] to talk about becoming a Guider in the Campbell River District.
