How do we decide what goes in your buckets?
Each couples buckets we create are unique to what looks good in the field the week of their special event! Additionally, we match as many flowers as we can to their initial photo inspiration attachments they filled out on our website consult form.
Is DIY for you?
It really comes down to trust! We have been creating DIY buckets and selling to florists for 5 years (growing flowers for 8 years). We know the flowers that will hold up well for your special day, are not finicky to work with, and match your colour palette. If you trust this, the DIY method is perfect for you.
Who DIY is not for:
If you like to know exact flowers you will have on your special day. To explain why:
1. We source everything 100% from our fields. When we feel we need more diversity we can order in from our neighbouring flower farming friends, however, We do not go to the flower terminal to pickup specialty flowers.
2. With seasonal growing.. 1 week a certain flower can look great, the next week it can be done its peak blooming period or have insect damage. We always have an abundance of flowers in your palette to choose from, but you never know which flowers are going to suffer in a given season or bloom differently than you predicted.
3. You are getting a better deal on flowers with DIY buckets because we cut a lot of the admin time to focus on growing. A florist charges the amount they charge to factor in the admin time of special flower requests, ordering those special requests, driving to pick up those special requests, etc. when we have to answer what specifically will be in your buckets, it takes us away from nurturing your crops during our working hours.
All this being said, we love how many couples want to support a small flower farm on their special day! 🤍 cheers to now taking 2027 bookings!! 🥂
