Early morning lettuce harvest.
Please note that due to the incoming weather, there is NO farm stand on Main St tomorrow.
However…. You can find our salad mix this weekend at Stirling Farm Market in Greenwich, at Foote's Farm Market in Centerville, Sam in Canning & at Avery's Farm Markets many locations. You can also find our Pac Choi Noggins Corner Farm

I’m going to have some gorgeous corn tomorrow! And tomatillo, tons of tomato’s, and all of the other fan favourites…. Including the ever adorable fairy tale eggplant. Also, Rene Jacquat is back from Switzerland, so there will be bread!

Beets are on sale this week- just in time for pickling!
We’ll have loads of other beautiful veggies available, including eggplant, sweet or hot peppers, French beans, tomatoes, green onion, cucamelon, and the last two fig trees!

Super excited!!!! I’ll have 4 fig trees at the farm stand tomorrow! Come early- they disappear quick! (Sorry, no holds)
I’ll also have eggplant making its first appearance of the season!

WAY too hot to cook. Time to empty the fridge & make a “big salad”
Boiled egg? Leftover veg? Random deli meat? Throw it all in! Sprinkle some nuts or croutons on top, maybe a little cheese, & you have a delicious dinner with no oven required. Pick up your weekend salad mix at Avery's Farm Markets locations, Foote's Farm Market market in Centerville, Stirling Farm Market in Greenwich, Sam in Canning or at the stand on Main st in Canning, 9-1pm on Saturday

It’s feast or famine with the rain in the valley this year. After the drought last year, I’ll never complain about rain, but it sure would be nice if we didn’t get a week worth in 30 minutes.

I’m not sad that we don’t have space to grow potatoes, because once I close our farm stand for the day, I just have to roll up the street to Jocelyn & Tim’s to buy these freshly dug beauties Jocelyn Durston
