Last month, West Baffin Co-op was proud to host a Small Engine Training Course in Kinngait.

Six participants, most of them members of our Co-op team, spent the week building practical skills in small engine maintenance and repair. Their enthusiasm and commitment stood out from day one. Several even returned for an extra day of hands-on training to continue learning.

The training also welcomed more than 30 students from the local high school. They visited the shop to learn about small engine repair, ask great questions, and explore future opportunities with the Co-op.

A big thank you to instructors Jonas and George for sharing their knowledge, and to William for his support and warm welcome throughout the week.

Congratulations to all six participants on completing the course. Your hard work, dedication, and willingness to learn are helping build valuable skills that will benefit our community for years to come.

Thank you to everyone who helped make this training a success!
