There's no sugar coating this news, but after almost a decade, Braumeister is having to say goodbye to our longest serving employee. Our brewmaster Sheldon will be leaving us this month. While plans are already in place as the company moves forward, and an announcement of our new Brewmaster will happen soon, we wanted to take this time to share our gratitude for everything Sheldon and his family have done for Braumeister. Sheldon moved his life up from the US and helped us open, operate, and grow a brewery based on the traditions of Europe. We were able to produce beers that not only won awards, but also won over individuals from all walks of life. Sheldon was able to create drinks for enthusiasts and supposed non-beer drinkers alike and after a sip, praise for his craft often followed.

We owe a lot to Sheldon for the foundation he has helped us build and while people may say change is good, we are incredibly sad to say goodbye to a great employee and an even better friend.

We will be having a drop in at the brewery in Carleton Place Saturday June 6th from 6pm onwards if anyone would like to pop in to say their goodbyes to Sheldon and his family.

With an amazing group of local beer/alcohol manufacturers and live bands from across the region, a variety of amazing food trucks, craft vendors for an evening market, a dunk tank to raise money for charity, and more, this year's Beerfest is shaping up to be the event of the summer!

Let's welcome the warm weather with a refreshing new seasonal! Everyone's favourite Maibock is now available on tap in the taproom in Carleton Place and at !

*Cans will be available this weekend.

Fastenbier:

A strong beer, traditionally brewed to welcome the arrival of spring, this Maibock is a full-bodied, golden-coloured beer with an intense malty sweetness, balanced by a generous addition of noble hops.

It’s fast-paced, social, and a total blast. You’ll play multiple rounds, moving up tables as you win and meeting new faces across the room. Whether you’re a seasoned shark or a casual player, it’s all about the drinks, cards, and conversation.

We're bringing the game of Euchre to Braumeister with a Progressive Tournament twist! Here is the lowdown on what you’re signing up for:

The Format: This is a "Winners Move" style tournament. If your team wins a round, you move up toward the Head Table. If you lose, you’ll stay or rotate to face a new set of opponents. It’s a great way to play several fast-paced games and meet some new people!

The Rules: We’ll be playing with "Stick the Dealer" and 20-minute timed rounds to keep the energy high.

The Teams: Sign up with a dedicated partner.

Prizes: Bragging rights (and maybe a few brewery surprises!) for the top-scoring teams.
