A miniature horse farm, in Carman, Manitoba, Canada, raising a few foals each year, specializing in driving horses. Well known for the Six-Horse and Eight Horse Hitches. We have been raising miniature horses since 1990, and take pride in raising AMHA & AMHR Registered Miniature Horses with quality conformation and vibrant colour. After 30+ years of having Meadowind Miniatures Horses in a display at the Royal Manitoba Winter Fair, Rod and I are stepping back. For the last several years we have partnered with the Manitoba Miniature Horse Club at the Winter Fair and we are so grateful that the club has decided to carry on the tradition in the capable hands of Corinne Betteridge.

The Winter Fair has always been a special time to renew old acquaintances, to make new friends and to introduce the fair visitors to our beloved miniature horses. We have seen many significant changes over the years.
One of the hard parts has been acknowledging each year that there are friends who will not be returning and this year is no exception.
We were glad to help with the set up on Saturday, and will attend on Monday and Tuesday to help greet Fair Visitors and showcase the versatility of the Miniature Horse Breed through demonstrations and of course to have the joy of helping hundreds of kids experience a free ride in a cart at the Royal Experience in the main arena on Tuesday at 4:00 p.m.
If you are at the fair on Monday or Tuesday, be sure to stop by the Flynn Arena and say hello
The display will be there all week and the club is carrying on the tradition of raffling off a miniature horse. Be sure to get your tickets!

The 2025 True North Halloween Hullabaloo Miniature Horse and Pony Show has come to a close! What a fun show it was! Enthusiastic exhibitors, willing horses and ponies! Great to reconnect with a number of old friends! Kudos to Mia and Dan Fury and your crew for all your work in organizing this show! It was amazing!

After a crazy busy summer, we are finally getting to post some of our foal pictures! We were blessed with 6 foals, 5 fillies & 1 c**t! All are pintos, a couple of Medicine Hats among them. 5 by Ericas Admirals Right on Target and 1 by Silver Birch's Believe It or Not (both co-owned with Fields of Blessing Miniature Horses.)
Just realized we have a lot of bay mares! Good to have homozygous Stallions!
