So clearly I made my to do list for the week without looking at a weather forecast!!!
But I got the early bred group brought up to the house today so they’re ready for preg testing Tuesday!!!
That was a long jog after the herd in mud and rain and wind then a walk back to my abandoned skid steer 😂🙄🤦‍♀️.

I always say I’m fired from fencing but here I am 7/8 quarters checked and fixed up in the past week!! I’m definitely nobodies first choice though 😂😝.

“Agriculture” is easy to criticize when you’re disconnected from it.

But food systems don’t exist without farmers, ranchers, truck drivers, veterinarians, nutritionists, researchers, and millions of people working behind the scenes every day.

If we want affordable, safe, abundant food, agriculture has to remain part of the conversation.

What’s one thing you wish more people understood about where food comes from?

Now I don’t have a favourite child, they annoy me equally, but 403 here has become a fast favourite in the first calf heifer pen!!
Her calf passed away and we grafted a little twin onto her, just the best little mommy with the best attitude!!! So sweet to actually work with but sass and s***k!! Jonah Severs you better have more bred heifers available this fall!!! I love her!!
