After a few days of rain, mud, and wondering if summer took a wrong turn somewhere, we're still moving full speed ahead at Carway Duty Free!

June hours are:
🕘 Saturday - Wednesday: 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM 🕗 Thursday & Friday: 8:00 AM - 8:00 PM

And starting July 1st, we'll be open
🕗8:00 AM - 8:00 PM every day until the end of August. Summer season is almost here!

On another note, I checked our page today and saw we're up to 737 followers. That's pretty amazing considering we're a little Duty Free store tucked away at the border. Thank you to everyone who follows along, likes and shares our posts, and supports us.

Now I'm thinking we should do something fun when we hit 1,000 followers. Maybe a giveaway? Maybe a gift basket? Maybe I get carried away and make it bigger than it needs to be? 😂

Either way, let's see if we can get there! If you've got friends or family who cross the border, send them our way and invite them to follow the page.

Something new is chilling at Carway Duty Free 👀❄️🍺

We brought in this retro Pepsi cooler and stocked it with ICE COLD beer and coolers!
If you’re headed camping, to the lake, across the border, or just passing through, you can now grab your drinks cold and ready to go.

We’ve never offered ice cold beer before, so we’re pretty excited about it — and honestly this old-school cooler was too cool not to bring back to life 😎

Hi everyone, it’s Anna, the manager at Carway Duty Free 👋

I wanted to personally update our customers about the construction upgrades starting at the Carway border crossing. CBSA is beginning a $5 million improvement project at the port, and today I came in early to meet directly with the CBSA superintendent to discuss how this may affect traffic flow and our delivery process during construction.

I’m happy to say that together we came up with a plan that will allow us to continue our delivery service and keep things running as smoothly as possible throughout the project.

I know construction can sometimes make things look overwhelming or make people worry about long wait times, but I want to reassure everyone that traffic entering the USA and returning to Canada is still expected to flow smoothly. It may look chaotic at times, but the goal is to keep delays to a minimum and maintain normal travel flow as much as possible.

Please don’t let the construction deter you from using the Carway crossing or stopping in to see us. We truly value every customer who supports our small business, and we’ll continue doing everything we can to make your Duty Free experience easy, convenient, and enjoyable.

✔️ One person can come into the store to shop (having a co-pilot definitely helps keep the line moving!)
✔️ We process your purchase quickly
✔️ We give your vehicle a Canadian flag so we can easily spot you in line
✔️ Our staff delivers your goods directly to you at the Duty Free drop-off point right before the US gate

This allows you to keep your place in line while still enjoying your Duty Free savings! 🇨🇦🛍️
