Happy Easter everyone! We got a surprise lamb yesterday morning (first picture) and then this morning we woke up to two beautiful twins! Our girls were right on schedule and we're just waiting on one more to give birth. All the lambs are doing well and are healthy. The Blackbelly genetics are coming through strong!

It's been a while since we posted...but here's a little update from us

We recently sent in a ram to be processed for meat. This one will just be for us, but this year we will officially begin selling lamb! Pricing to come later, we will sell separate cuts as well as orders for whole or half lambs. We try to raise them for a little longer, up to around a year old. It feels a little more ethical, and you get larger cuts. We expect around 40-50 lbs hanging weight. This is what it looks like with the custom cuts we requested

We also still have frozen chickens and turkeys for sale if you are still looking for an Easter dinner. Our turkeys and chickens will be at a good discount, just looking to free up freezer space for the coming season. Just message us for prices!

If you're still looking to get a turkey for Christmas dinner, we do still have a few available! All of them are around 19-20 lbs, price is $6.75/lb

If you're having a smaller gathering, we do also have whole chickens available in the 5-6 lb range. Price is below. We have stuffed and roasted our chickens before and they make a beautiful dinner if you're only feeding 4-6 people

Please let us know, we can work with you for deliveries or pickups any time to make sure you have it in time for your dinners!

Just wanted to share this - this turkey was spatchcocked and smoked by one of our regular customers. They bought it frozen and then brined it, smoked it all day, and apparently it came out delicious! I wish I had gotten to taste it myself...

Speaking of turkeys......we have 8 turkeys left frozen. Here are the weights in pounds:

Quantity is very limited, so if you want a turkey for Christmas dinner, please let us know. If freezer space is an issue, you can always pre-purchase the turkey and we can reserve it for you in our freezers.

Well....it's been a crazy couple days, but 30 birds processed, 30 birds picked up, and 17 turkeys are with our wonderful customers. We really truly appreciate every single one of you. This is a small operation, so every sale matters a lot to us. So thank you, and we hope you all have a wonderful Thanksgiving dinner!

That said, we do still have turkeys in stock! The remaining turkeys are all between 19-21 lbs, and I can keep them fresh today, and tomorrow at latest. Let me know asap and I can put them in my limited fridge space, otherwise they're slowly freezing.

Edit: the price is $6.75/lb

If you're wondering if a fresh turkey can keep for this long, the answer is YES, when it's fresh from processing. Since you're getting them directly from being processed, they can keep in the fridge for a week, probably longer. So let me know, you're still able to get a fresh turkey with the discount, but time is running out

Tomorrow is the big day......it's last call to get your preorder in before processing day! Please message us to make sure you get one of these delicious birds on your table this Thanksgiving weekend. It'll be the highlight of the meal. Organic fed, pasture raised, from our small farm to your plate

After tomorrow, we can keep some turkeys refrigerated for a short time, but we will need to freeze them, so if you want to be able to cook one fresh this weekend, please contact us!

Also this is one of the last chances to preorder a turkey for Thanksgiving! It's coming up quick, only a week away. Processing day is Wednesday October 8th, and I can hold them fresh for only a limited time before I have to start freezing them.

Message us ASAP if you want to reserve one, they're nearly half sold out already!
