This client gift set is a BEAUTY!

I love finding out a little bit about the recipients and then making sure the gift is catered specifically to them. It makes it that much more personal!

One of my FAV pieces from this baby shower order I made this summer!

I mean… how cute are these Rice Krispy Pops?! Loved decorating these pops with chocolate letters, and the little bow was the perfect finishing touch.

10 weeks. 75 days. And somehow…today is our LAST day of summer break.

As much as these girls can drive me absolutely nuts and push every single one of my buttons, I’m genuinely sad that they’re heading back to school tomorrow.

Owning my own small businesses means I get to experience these memories with my girls. There are definitely sacrifices that come with choosing to stay home and run my businesses instead of working a traditional 9–5, but honestly…I wouldn’t trade it for the world.

And the fact that my girls have already cried because they loved summer so much? I’m taking that as a sign that I did a pretty good job.

Here’s to 10 weeks filled with memories, late nights, lazy mornings, adventures, laughter, a little chaos…and SO much love.

Recently created this closing gift and I absolutely LOVE how it turned out!

I was pretty much given free rein with this one, with just one request from the client… **client doesn’t drink w**e. **

So I filled it with some Vanilla Shoppe staples — candied almonds, chocolate-covered Oreos & pretzels, shortbread cookies and vanilla-infused honey. Instead of w**e, I added a beautiful dipping oil that fit perfectly.

When I’m creating something big, I love supporting small, so I added a beautiful candle from Fharas | A1 RITUALS Candles & Co. and the prettiest little succulent from Vinnie Rose Designs

I love how everything came together! A little something sweet, something savoury, something cozy… and a gift they can enjoy long after closing day.

We started a Summer Bucket List a few years ago… and somehow it just keeps getting longer and longer every year!

Going to the Ex with our best friends was added to the list last year after we took the girls and they LOVED it! So of course, we had to do it again this year.

Our Summer Bucket List is almost complete… so it was only fitting that the Ex be one of our final items to check off!

Well… I got scammed. And honestly, it totally sucks and is so disheartening, especially as a small business owner who works SO hard for every order, every customer and every dollar.

I’m sharing this video as a little warning because these scams are getting GOOD.

If only I had thought to check the email address first… Lesson learned the hard way!

Hopefully sharing this saves someone else from making the same mistake.

Heard earlier this week that pumpkin spice season has officially started…

Ummm… I think it’s a little early! I’m still in full-on summer mode.

BUT… if you’re ready for that pumpkin spice life, make your own at home! Grab a bottle of Vanilla Simple Syrup from the Vanilla Shoppe and try this easy recipe

Pumpkin Spice Latte

Ingredients:
2 shots espresso (or ½ cup strong coffee)
1 tbsp pumpkin puree
1 tbsp vanilla simple syrup
¼ tsp pumpkin pie spice
1 cup milk
Top with Whipped cream + pinch of cinnamon

Directions:

1. Whisk pumpkin puree, vanilla simple syrup & pumpkin pie spice in a mug.
2. Add hot espresso/coffee and stir until smooth.
3. Warm & froth your milk.
4. Pour into the coffee mixture, top with whipped cream & cinnamon… and enjoy!
