FAQs
Growing healthy food in harmony with the environment is our top priority. We aren't certified organic yet, but we're working on it. We use the same organic growing methods that have been practiced on our land for the past 25 years. All of our produce is grown without the use of synthetic pesticides, herbicides, and fertilizers. We also implement crop rotation, which is important for maintaining the health of our soil. Our growing practices are in line with the Organic Products Regulations of the Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA), Canada's official organic certification board. HOW CAN I HELP?
#1: Be a customer! Our customers support our farm directly and as our community inspiration, making it possible for us to continue doing our work.
#2: Spread the word! Word of mouth is the main way people hear about us, so tell your friends and family to become patrons of our farm at the Charlottetown Farmers’ Market or online at https://www.localline.ca/eatlocalpei.
#3: Sign up for our newsletter! Get the weekly menu sent right to your inbox at mailchi.mp/maplebloomfarm/eatlocalpei. All the best,
Jordan and Catherine
