So excited for this coming to our community! Vertical Roots is going to be a perfect partner for this project in our community. Make sure you are following CEDDI Chauvin for updates on the progress.

NEW Farm Alert for Chauvin, Alberta! CEDDI is excited to be launching their Hydroponic Hub Project that will be in partnership with Dr. Folkins Community School. Vertical Roots Canada was thrilled to jump in and retrofit a container farm that was no longer needed from Mama's Produce, who will be expanding their facility with a Vertical Roots Hydroponic Grow System! Delivery of the container farm will be September 10th, with operations starting mid-to-late September. Bringing education and access to year-round 100% clean hydroponic greens to this local community and surrounding area is a win for all! Stay tuned for the install, the launch, and of course…THE HARVEST!

My onion harvest was abysmal this year. Definitely in the 'this was a weird year for my ' category. So instead I'm enjoying hanging them to cure and admiring them like little gems on display. Not sure why it was so satisfying to hang those up, or why I just love how they look 🤷. Sometimes gardening isn't about the garden at all.

Another successful weekend at the farm stand, thanks to all you Friends and Neighbours! The garlic is sold out for the season. I will have garlic powder back in stock before Christmas, thanks again everyone for your continued support and love for the garlic 🧄❤️.

Some great news Chauvin! 🎉 The farm stand is still open, and WILL BE OPEN SUNDAY, AUG 30th TOO! So if you weren't able to stop by today (a massive thank you to those who did 🙏) you can still get your own delicious, locally grown fresh veggies and garlic! We have potatoes (Russets & Yukon Gold), beets, carrots, onions and summer squash available. And still garlic left! 🧄 Grab it now before it's all gone. Open Sunday at 10 am.

This is it Friends and Neighbours! The best of the garden will be available at the Farm Stand on Saturday, August 29th at 11am. It's the end of summer and the garden is at its peak, so don't miss the biggest selection of garlic, vegetables and flowers of the season! See you then.

Thank you to all the amazing gals who came out for our Summer-in-a-Jar Arrangement fun at the Stook & Stubble Ladies Night! I so appreciate the support and enthusiasm for the flowers. It was a lot of fun to wind down the garden in such a special way 🌻.
