For anyone not to picky about their pickles, we have lots of pickling cucumbers at a discount! Minimum 20% off, up to half price depending on how many days past picking. We picked more cucumbers in the past week than we did the entire month combined previously and are little overwhelmed with supply. Cucumber season will start winding down soon and our next couple
Pickings might be mostly spoken for, so if you’ve been thinking about it now is a great time to get a good deal and make some pickles!

Strawberries coming in like crazy off the field again today. Also found a few of the first melons of the season. Should start coming on strong by the end of the week but we have a few for now and they are definitely a treat. Taste test approved!

Special price Pickling cucumbers. $75 for 40lb ($1.88/lb) medium size, slicing/ bread and butter pickle size. $2.50/lb for less than 40lb.

Most are about the size shown, some smaller and suitable as whole pickles and only a few larger than shown.

We also have small dill size available as well.

Special price for 40lb of slicing size will only run until we get back into proper picking schedule.

Also stocked today is one of the best pickings of strawberries this season. They have always been good but this round picked today is extra sweet! $7.50/pint, $75/flat (limited available)

To anyone who bought garlic bundles and got any poor quality:

-You may bring in your bad bulbs and replace with individual ones of approximately same size that we have in the store.

-Or bring back the entire bundle and receive full refund.

This will more likely apply to bundles purchased in the past week or so. I was only planning to have the bundles available for about a week and then finish the curing process myself to avoid deterioration. I kept checking and they seemed to be drying great on display so decided to keep them available, but the higher humidity especially overnight the last week has caused some noticeably bad bulbs. Other obligations took over and I may have over looked the need to handle this more diligently.

Thank you for understanding. All learning lessons especially when trying different things to figure out what’s going to work best.

Attention juicers, relish makers or cucumber snacking fanatics. We’re swimming in cucumbers right now but need to keep the plants picked so they will keep producing for the rest of the season. 10 field cucumbers for $5.

Strawberry production has picked up to what seems to be a fairly good consistency that should last the rest of the season. We hope to be able to keep the store stocked at least twice per week, $7.50 for nice full pints. Right now we have enough to sell some flats at $75. Always grown with zero sprays or chemicals. If you have been wanting flats of strawberries since the spring now is your time. We can also still order in conventional BC grown for $65/flat

Pickling cucumbers are coming on strong! Safe to say we’re into peak production. Lots in stock but always recommend to contact ahead of time to reserve an order.

First fresh BC apples and pears of the season! It’s been months since we’ve had BC apples. The increased demand across the province for BC apples this past winter must have cleared out the store houses early. Sunrise are an excellent eating apple, they do start off a little tart but finish with very good flavour and sweetness.

Also in stock, BC grown prune plums. We are also selling by the 20lb case for $55. please contact to check availability or let us know if you would like one brought in.
