Tools like the HACH Pocket Pro TDS meter help measure total dissolved solids, which gives us a quick look at the amount of dissolved minerals, salts, and other substances in your water.

We also use equipment like the HACH DR 900 Colorimeter, which allows us to test for a range of water quality concerns, including things like iron, manganese, hardness, and more.

Meet Tiffany 👋

Tiffany is the Office Administrator at Clean Water Specialists, helping keep the office running smoothly while making sure customers feel welcomed and taken care of from the first phone call forward.

Around the office, her job description might sound a little different:
“Spreading joy, one phone call at a time. Smiling so people can hear it. Getting paid to tell my husband what to do.”

Seriously though, Tiffany plays a big role in supporting the day-to-day office operations and helping keep everything organized behind the scenes.

If you’ve called the office, there’s a good chance Tiffany was the friendly voice helping point you in the right direction.

Outside of work, Tiffany loves music and has a playlist for just about every mood. When we asked for her favourite song, she narrowed it down to two: “The Word Is Love” by Steve “Silk” Hurley, which was their wedding song, and “Howlin’ For You” by The Black Keys.

Meet Shawna 👋

Shawna is the Operations Manager at Clean Water Specialists and helps keep everything running behind the scenes. From customer service and scheduling to payroll, bookkeeping, and day-to-day operations, she handles just about everything except the field work.

Six years ago, Shawna helped her partner Tyler take over the business at just 26 years old. Since then, she’s played a major role in helping grow Clean Water Specialists into what it is today.

Before stepping into the water industry, Shawna spent 7 years working in hospitality and serving in Halifax restaurants, building the people skills and organization that now carry over into the business every day.

If you’ve called the office, booked an appointment, or had questions along the way, there’s a good chance you’ve already talked with Shawna.

Outside of work, Shawna loves music and says choosing one favourite song is impossible because every genre and mood deserves its own soundtrack.
