Hello all! That time of year again.. spring break 🙈 sorry for this long read!
Much like the summer months, I will be limiting the hours I work & message reply’s will be slower.
However instead of taking on fewer orders, I am choosing to move all the ordering process directly to my website. Believe it or not I usually dedicate 1 full work day each week just to invoicing & message reply’s & often any spare moment I get during the week, so this will be a HUGE time saver 😊
I have made it so that you can now order custom cakes on the website & all you will have to do is message me your inspiration design photo. (Be sure that if your design is over the top with details, you must choose the “complex custom cakes” option.)
There is a time limit of a minimum of three weeks in advance for the customs & 1 week for basic. so unfortunately those that will be looking for last minute cakes will be out of luck.
Thank you again for all your support and for your patience, as my mom duties go above anything else 💜 happy spring break!!

What started off as the week from hell, it ended up having a happy ending! I had injured my back last weekend and had a dull ache for a few days, I thought I’d be able to push through and take on a few last minute orders as I often do 🙈 but as soon as I did, I ended up at a point where I couldn’t even move. So much agony. I ended up not invoicing those last minute orders & just cancelled them completely. I took the first half of the week resting with ice packs & by the time Thursday rolled around I was almost fully recovered 😀

Usually whenever burnout is taking place, God has a way of making me slow down. ALWAYS! But I said no for the first time in a long time and I was miraculously able to say yes to what mattered most & I was able to complete all my basic cake orders for the week, get my customs completed & bake something sweet for the fundraiser BBQ 💕

The 6” basic cake is by far the best seller on my website because it’s budget friendly. I managed to film some of the crumb coating to show my process. I often get asked how long it takes me to complete a cake and I can never seem to answer because I’m usually always working on several at the same time 😅

These cookies headed out the door today to Tumbler Ridge. They were planned to be for their tournament this weekend, but instead turned into a time of mourning.
