Took advantage of a break in the weather. Set up a new canopy for the chicken run (no more worries about predators), and covered part of the patio to overwinter some of the tender perennials.

Not sure what it was but our 2 hens, a rooster and a duck was killed last night. These are typical of farming life. Not everything goes smoothly. We've had these fowls for over a year.
