I'm thankful that we're not affected by the floods and hope everyone stays safe. The pond we enlarged in August is now almost full. It was lucky that we did it then, otherwise this area would be flooded.

Took advantage of a break in the weather. Set up a new canopy for the chicken run (no more worries about predators), and covered part of the patio to overwinter some of the tender perennials.

While cleaning up the vines of the spaghetti squash, I realized that some of them are actually not attached to the vine anymore. So they have to be harvested even though some are not ripe yet.

Not sure what it was but our 2 hens, a rooster and a duck was killed last night. These are typical of farming life. Not everything goes smoothly. We've had these fowls for over a year.

A day and a half to build it. 95% done. Just need to screw the structure to the base. Stopping for now as the rain is getting heavier. Easy to build with clear instructions. Highly recommend Keter sheds.
