TYDEL Foods TYDEL Foods - Providing High Quality Meats & Food Selections at Unbeatable prices to our local community. I became an advocate for low-income seniors.
(1)

Being involved in our community, I realized so many people were not eating properly. Many choose rent over food and much-needed medication and some choose medication over rent and they became homeless or live in their vehicles - classified as the “Hidden Homeless “. On Feb 3 /4 th 2 years ago I brought 21 homeless people into my home - all became my friends and our community came together to help

me feed and clothe every one of them. People with disabilities. Low-income families and those suffering from homelessness. And over the past two years, I started Community Angels in Chilliwack with Bonnie and the help of Angels in our community coming together for the betterment of ALL people. Feeding people in need for FREE with the help of donations from our amazing community and also paying for much-needed medication for our seniors and those with mental health issues. My fiancé Tony Pitzoff and I,
realized over Covid that people needed food and the importance of healthy food and we decided to do something about it. TYDEL Foods is named after my 2 youngest daughters Tyanna Maddalena Melillo and Lana Melillo
( Delana ). The idea of TYDEL Foods is to bring good healthy foods to the consumer at an affordable price. From the Farmer to our communities. As we grow, TYDEL Foods will go into homes of low-income families, seniors, people with disabilities and those struggling to keep food on their table and we will always keep a priority on their health and well-being. Thank you so much for your support! If you own a farm or know someone in our community that would like to be a part of TYDEL Foods and team up to feed our community please pass along my information at 604-316-6015

“ Overcoming poverty is not a task or charity, it is an act of injustice, like slavery and apartheid, poverty is not natural. It is man-made and it can be overcome and eradicated by the actions of human beings. Sometimes it falls on a generation to be great. YOU can be that great generation. Let your greatness blossom” - Nelson Mandela.

** NEW SONG **

Song : With Hands That Serve
Written by : Brigida Crosbie

—————

I’ve been thinking a lot about who I am, what my life has meant and why I’ve always felt so deeply called to serve others.

The words that keep coming back to me are servant leader, community missionary and humanitarian.

For me, those aren’t titles. They are a way of living.

They mean seeing the person who feels invisible. Feeding someone who is hungry. Sitting with someone who is lonely. Standing beside people when life has knocked them down. Loving people without asking what they can give back.

So much of my own pain taught me to recognize pain in others. The things I went through could have hardened me, but instead they made me want to make sure other people never feel forgotten.

That is what inspired this song:

“With the Hands That Serve”
Written by Brigida Crosbie
© 2026

This song is about using the hands God gave us to love, serve, feed, comfort, lift and remind people that they matter.

I don’t want to be remembered for a title or a name.

I hope I’m remembered for how people felt when I was there.

Seen.
Loved.
Valued.
Not alone.

If my life can bring even a little hope to someone in their darkest moment, then I know I am walking in my purpose.

“I don’t need a crown to lead… I’ll be the hands that serve.” ❤️

❤️ OUR SENIORS PROGRAM NEEDS YOUR HELP ❤️

Right now, the non-perishable food shelves for the Community Angels Food and Housing Support Society Seniors Program at TYDEL FOODS are extremely low.

Every month, the seniors on our program receive these groceries completely FREE. For many of them, this food helps stretch a very limited income and ensures they have something in their cupboards when money simply doesn’t go far enough.

These groceries are a gift from our community to seniors who are struggling the most and right now we truly need your help filling our shelves again.

ITEMS NEEDED MOST:

* Canned vegetables
* Canned fruit
* Canned meats
* Canned tomatoes
* Spaghetti sauce
* Rice
* Crackers
* Cereal
* Kraft Dinner
* Coffee
* Condiments
* Boost, Ensure or Glucerna
* Other unopened, non-expired non-perishable food items

If you are grocery shopping and are able to purchase some of these items specifically to donate to our Seniors Program, we would be happy to provide a charitable tax receipt for your in-kind donation, provided you bring us your original purchase receipt.

You can also support the Seniors Program with a monetary donation. ❤️

Monetary donations can be sent to:

[email protected]

Community Angels Food and Housing Support Society
Charity Number: 745950428RR0001

Even one can, one box of cereal, one bag of rice or one jar of sauce makes a difference. If hundreds of people each donated just one or two items, imagine how quickly we could fill these shelves again.

These groceries are not being sold - they are going directly to seniors in our program FREE OF CHARGE.

Please help us fill our shelves and fill the cupboards of seniors who need our community right now. ❤️

Please share this post far and wide.
Together, we can make sure our seniors know they are not forgotten.

URGENT HELP FOR A SENIOR CAREGIVER ❤️

We are asking our community to help a senior woman who is carrying an incredibly heavy load right now.

Her husband is living with two types of stage 4 cancer and is undergoing chemotherapy. She is his caregiver, his support and the person doing everything she can to make sure he can remain at home with her during this very difficult time.

She is scared. She is stressed. She is carrying so much.

And yet, even in the middle of everything she is going through, she is still thinking about other people.

She comes into our Seniors Resource Centre and makes sandwiches for the seniors who come in for a free lunch. She continues to care for people around her when she could very understandably be focused only on what is happening in her own life.

And right now, in the quiet moments she has, she is crocheting beautiful Christmas stockings for the seniors in our program so that each of them can have something handmade and special this Christmas.

That tells you so much about the kind of woman she is. ❤️

Our hope is to give some of that kindness back to her.

She needs a little breathing room over the months ahead to help with everyday expenses, housing costs, food, transportation and all of the unexpected costs that come with caring for someone who is seriously ill.

Most of all, we want to give her some peace so she can spend her energy caring for her husband and being beside the man she loves, instead of worrying every day about how she is going to make ends meet.

If you would like to help her directly, you can send an e-transfer directly to her at:

[email protected]

Any amount helps -
$10, $20, $50.

It all adds upand it lets her know that while she is caring for everyone else, her community is caring for her too.

And there is another way you can help. ❤️

If anyone has yarn they would like to donate, she would be incredibly grateful. She is using it to crochet Christmas stockings for the seniors in our program. Donations of yarn can help her continue creating something beautiful for people who may otherwise have very little this Christmas.

If you are unable to donate financially, please consider donating yarn or simply sharing this post. The yarn can be dropped off at TYDEL FOODS 45766 Patten Ave.

Sometimes the people who give the most to others are the ones who find it hardest to ask for help themselves.

Let’s surround this beautiful senior caregiver with the same kindness, compassion and love that she continues to give to everyone around her. ❤️

A HEARTFELT THANK YOU TO CURTIS TIEU ❤️

Today we want to recognize someone in our community who has shown us what supporting local truly looks like.

Curtis Tieu is not only a local REALTOR® with eXp Realty, but also a 46+ year resident of our community. This is his home and it is clear that he genuinely cares about the people who live here.

Curtis also owns and operates his home-based business, Dash Cam Installation Plus More, specializing in vehicle safety accessories, dash cam sales and installation, automotive electronics, as well as tire and wheel sales and installation.

Curtis generously donated four brand-new tires to COMMUNITY ANGELS Food and Housing Support Society, along with the mounting, balancing, installation and related services at no charge.

This donation means much more than four tires.

Reliable transportation can make the difference between someone being able to volunteer and continue serving people in need. When a local business steps forward to help, that kindness keeps our community moving - literally and figuratively.

Curtis, thank you for seeing the work COMMUNITY ANGELS is doing and choosing to stand beside us. Thank you for giving from your business, your skills and your heart.

It is people like Curtis who remind us that a strong community is not built by one organization or one person. It is built when neighbours, businesses, volunteers and community members come together and help one another.

If you are looking for a local REALTOR® or need help with dash cams, vehicle safety accessories, tires, wheels or installation, please remember the businesses that also choose to give back to the community they serve.

Thank you, Curtis Tieu, from all of us at COMMUNITY ANGELS Food and Housing Support Society.

Your generosity will make a real difference.

💗 PLEASE HELP ME WISH ONE OF OUR INCREDIBLE VOLUNTEERS A VERY HAPPY BIRTHDAY - TAMI! 💗

Tami gives her time every single day to help people who are struggling in our community. She is one of those people who shows up, helps quietly ( some days, not so quietly ) , loves deeply and gives from the heart.

I will never forget something she did for me personally.

When I started losing my hair, Tami stood up and said she would cut her hair so that I wouldn’t go through it alone.

That is Tami - A crazy country girl with a heart ❤️ for others.

She has an incredible heart of gold. She is sassy, strong, caring, loyal and truly an angel to so many people.

Volunteers like Tami are the reason so much good gets done in our community. They give their time, their energy, their compassion and sometimes even a piece of themselves just to make sure someone else doesn’t feel alone.

Today, I hope we can give some of that love back to her.

🎂 HAPPY BIRTHDAY, TAMI! 🎂
Thank you for everything you do, for the lives you touch and for being the beautiful soul that you are.

We love you and appreciate you more than you know. 💕🙏

Please help me fill the comments with birthday wishes for this amazing lady! 🎉💗🎂

❤️ CAN YOU HELP ONE OF OUR VOLUNTEERS? ❤️

We are trying to help one of our volunteers get a safe set of all-season tires for their vehicle.

🚗 2008 Pontiac G5 – 2.4L Standard
🛞 Tire Size: 195/60/R15

We checked with Big O Tires and new mid-grade tires are approximately $160 per tire, including installation, plus tax. Goodyear tires are approximately $180 per tire, plus tax.

If anyone has good, safe used tires in this size that they would be willing to donate, we would be incredibly grateful.

If we can’t find donated tires, we would also love to find a few people or businesses who might be willing to sponsor one tire or contribute toward purchasing the set. Even a smaller contribution would help us get closer.

Our volunteers give so much of themselves helping others in our community. Sometimes the people who are always there for everyone else need a helping hand too. ❤️

Please message us if you can help and please share this post so we can reach as many people as possible.

🙏 THANK YOU FOR SUPPORTING OUR VOLUNTEERS.
This is what community helping community looks like. ❤️
