Yup! Leaks underground are so much fun!!
This pvc sch80 fitting burst right on the pitless adapter on this well. Managed to replace it with poly municipal line instead.

This is a sign that your pressure tank is waterlogged. The pressure tank will drain in seconds, and when the pump start, it only run for very short time. This fast and short cycling will soon damage your well pump and components. If you notice this issue, give us a call, we will fix it for you in no time!

If you see this corrosion on your fittings, it is because you water is very acidic, that means the PH in your water is very low.
Brass and copper will be corroded and can brake very easily, causing leaks in your house.
I replace all the brass corroded pex fittings with stainless steel, which is safe when the PH levels are low.

Customer called in with no water from the well. After troubleshooting, I had figured out the start capacitor in the control box was blown due to fast and short pump cycling caused from a waterlogged pressure tank.

If your pressure tank is waterlogged or the air is not set properly, it will cause your pump to fast cycle. This will cause issues to the system components like the well pump and control box.

It's always good to have the system checked often to avoid failure on your system. 💧💧💧
