Our market season is starting up! Spinach, rhubarb, lemon balm, marjoram and sage (subject to change) are on the list. Also, *jam* and the last of the *pickles* available at our booth, from .bountiful.basket. Looking forward to seeing you on the 7th and on the 16th! Look carefully for us, as we will be in a single stall till June. (Pictured - Cara smiling with the first harvest of spinach).

Fit to burst! That’s the phrase that goes through my head this spring as I look at all the seedlings Andy has started, planted and is taking care of (like tomatoes, that just got potted up). The cover crops are getting close to our knees too. It’s quite something to think about all the good food that will be ready this summer and fall that all gets it’s start in our little germination room under lights, then graduates to the nursery greenhouse, is transplanted, irrigated, weeded, harvested and cleaned off for you (yes, it has crossed my mind if we could swing selling it with ‘soil-on’.).

After 16 years of farming full-time, why are we still doing this? It goes back to a desire to care for creation by how we farm and help our community access tasty vegetables. Take a peek at this 2014 article for a bit more about our start at farming. https://youngagrarians.org/becoming-farmers/

It’s been an adventure with it’s ups and downs and much to celebrate - like being able to work with our children and eat so many meals together.
