Hello Everyone:

As we mentioned in our last post we are closing the orchard as of tonight, August 16. We will consider allowing some to pick more cherries in the next few days as we are cleaning up the orchard, however, you will need to contact us and arrange a time to pick so we are sure to be here. Contact us by telephone or text at 306-314-2446. There are still some cherries to be had of all varieties but the picking will be slow compared to earlier in the season.

We would also like to thank everyone who came to our orchard this year to pick or purchase sour cherries and hope you enjoyed the experience. We look forward to seeing you again next year.

Hello everyone:

We would like to let our customers know that this weekend will be your last chance to pick sour cherries this year! We are planning to close the orchard Sunday evening at 8 pm as the number of pickers have dwindled. There continue to be some Juliette and Romeo varieties remaining on the bushes and a considerable amount of Carmine Jewels still on the bushes. Picking remains worthwhile as most people can still fill a 7 pound pail in less than an hour.

We will be open Saturday and Sunday from 8.00 am to 8.00 pm.
Prices are $3.50 a pound for U-Pick cherries and $6.50 a pound for Pre-picked cherries. We provide pails for picking but please bring your own containers or bags for taking your cherries home.
We are located in the Christopher Lake area, about 2 km west of the village of Christopher Lake. Follow highway 263 west to Dochylo road (near first turn of the highway) and follow the signs to our orchard at 24 Dochylo Road. You can call 306-314-2446 if you need more information.

Though we are expecting cloudy weather the winds should be light and temperatures mild spending some time in the orchard should be enjoyable for the whole family.

Hello new and old customers:

We would like to let you know that after a busy 10 days we are still open. The picking is still good for Carmine Jewels and slower for the Juliette and Romeo varieties. We will continue to be open every day from 8.00 am to 8.00 pm until the cherries are gone.

We would like to let you know that after a busy first week we are still open and the cherry picking is still very good. We will be open on the upcoming weekend (August 8 and 9) and likely through the following week and possibly through the weekend of August 15 and 16 if the cherries last. We will be open every day from 8.00 am to 8.00 pm until the cherries are gone. Just fair warning the cherries are going fast, so to avoid disappointment don't delay your picking excursions.

We would like to let you know that we are opening for the 2026 Sour Cherry U-Pick season tomorrow, Friday July 31! We will be open every day from 8.00 am to 8.00 pm until the cherries are gone. Just fair warning although this year's crop is beautiful there are not as many cherries as some years, so to avoid disappointment don't delay your picking excursions.

Hello Everyone: we are posting now to let all our regular and new customers know that the cherries are developing well and we expect many of them to be ripe for picking by the August long weekend, August 1st, 2026. We will formally post again to let you know when we open our U-Pick. As usual, when we open we will also put up our signs along Hwy 263 and Dochylo road (about 2 km west of Christopher Lake hamlet) that will direct you to our orchard at 24 Dochylo Road. Currently, the Dochylo Road sign is down (coming from the east) so instead you will need to look for our signs or the start of the first turn on Hwy 263 coming from Christopher Lake where Dochylo Road begins.

We are looking forward to seeing you all again this summer!
