Lucasia Percherons Lucasia Percherons is raising Percherons in the Foothills of Alberta for over 50 years and three generations!

Our breeding stock is offering some of the best pedigrees in North America! No matter if you are looking for a show or hitch horse, a team to drive or your perfect riding buddy with size we have what you are looking for! Every year we are expecting about 10 to 15 foals which will be available as weanlings in the fall. Had an amazing week at St Paul Minnesota at the World Percheron Congress
Our mare Maleficent made the 8th place in her halter class of 3 year old mares shown by Braxtyn Burger! Huge thank you to Braxtyn and the whole Burger family for getting her down there and getting her ready! We very much enjoyed meeting all our friends, in particular Amy and Ty Frey from Tradewind Farms and enjoyed the show!

Sutton and Maybry did really well in the Junior classes at the Calgary Stampede! Maybry was 2nd in showmanship and Sutton was 4th in decorating and 1st in showmanship and was 2nd in showmanship over all ages! Way to go girls! We are very proud of you and excited about many more show years together!

Sadly we lost Buds Flower, the 22 year old matriarch of this place, due to a breach foal a couple days ago! Her bloodline goes way back to some of our best foundation horses. We are very fortunate to still have three of her daughters in our herd! She never had a poor foal in her whole life! She will be missed!
