Salty Meadows is a small homestead located in Clark's Harbour, Cape Sable Island, NS run by myself, Sheena Pace, my husband, Billy Pace, and once in a while our 3 children lend a hand. We are promoters of zero waste living, rewilding and regenerative farming. We are the caretakers of a flock of "wild" sheep on a local uninhabited island, which means we occasionally offer wool and wool products, an

d we offer island raised lamb meat. We garden to feed ourselves, but are always working to expand. We are becoming curators of vintage & antique everything, and as our collection grows we hope to eventually open a store. As our world shifts, and we look at the surplus of existing goods and products, we believe it is important for our sustainability to put those nostalgic wares back into production rather than producing more. We dabble in herbalism, and are support a barter system in addition to buy-and-sell.

Boston, Mabel and Aurora would like to wish a Happy 1st Birthday to their litter! 🥳
Mabel was the first born, and the only born for several hours. We knew she was our keeper pretty well right away. We had only planned to keep one, but then Aurora stole our hearts and we are so happy we decided to keep them both!

What could be cuter than a crew of Australian Shepherd puppies exploring the farm?
They've now met other dogs, horses, goats, sheep and chickens! These guys have amazing ranch lines behind them, and are snuggly enough to make the best companion.
And of course it wouldn't be South Shore Nova without some lobster pots on the farm 🤷
