Our farm blends our love of Barnhouses & Log Cabins (which is our house in a nutshell) and flower growing.

We grow for our own love of flowers but also to share the abundance with our community.

Well its the end of the summer season for us at the Clearwater Farmer's Market. Tomorrow will be our last market day for 2026. We made it through a super busy year both personally and for our flower growing farm.

Come get your last go at making your own Bouquets! Make them as big as you can for $25. We've done our last cutting for this market!

We are now moving into closeout of our year. Clearing of flower beds, collecting seed and tracking all our fantastic new dahlia varieties grown from seed. We should have some amazing new varieties for 2027! SO EXCITED!

Have an amazing fall and winter to all of our clients and all who have loved our flowers this year! We couldn't have done it without you! Here's some pictures from this year and a little show of some of our brand new varieties for next year!

We are indoors again at the Clearwater Farmer's Market tomorrow. The rain is definitely here along with close to a frost as temps dip.
This week we've been busy tagging new varieties of Dahlia's grown from seed for the 2025 and 2026 seasons as we search for that unicorn! Some of them showing good promise as they mature.
Also working on some new designs for our Flower Frog Toppers we are developing!
"Make you own bouquets" continues this week as well and next week for as long as Mother Nature allows.
Hope to see you all at the market!

Let us know what you think of the new varieties we have. Keepers? Or No?

The weather is turning to fall and even have a possible frost coming our way! This weeks Clearwater Farmer's Market will be indoors. We'll be there with another "Make your own bouquet" day. Possibly the last of this year.
We have a new item as well. We have hand made Floral Frog Toppers to hold those beauties on your table or desk when you want just a few blooms rather than a large bouquet!
Our dogs are sooooo happy to see flowers still in bloom!

09/19/2026

Its Harvest Fair time at the Clearwater Farmer's Market. We'll be there with "Make you own bouquet" running during the market as well as our locally grown organic flower seeds, travel vases and hand crafted dried flower wreaths!
Frost is coming and we saw a touch of it this morning. We may not have many more markets in us for this year so come and make your bouquets before our flowers are gone for the season.

Hey everyone! Just wanted to apologize as we will not be at this week's Clearwater Farmer's Market. We have a good excuse though. My mom is turning 100. That's right 100. So we need to celebrate this amazing event! All our flowers this week will be more than loved for our celebration.

We will be having a load of family visiting. If we survive we will see you all at the Harvest Fair Market in 2 weeks.

Happy September everyone!

All set up at the Clearwater Farmer's Market today from 9am to 12noon. Fresh cut locally grown flowers and today you can pick and choose from our large buckets of beautiful flowers to make your own bouquet creation. $20 for 22 or so flowers. We will also have a few bouquets already made if you prefer.

09/04/2026

WE'RE BACK at the Clearwater Farmer's Market tomorrow after awhile away. We sure have missed being there! We will be back with hand tied bouquets ready to go and a new idea!

We are going to be doing "Make your own bouquets at the market day"! That's right. Come and make the bouquet of your choosing with the colours and styles of flowers you love. At Barnhouse Flower Farm we had such a hoot having people come up and make their own bouquets we wanted to continue it at the market.

So come peruse through our flower collection and make your own beauty! Pictures show examples of our flower selection this week.

Well I have to say we are happily shocked at the interest in people coming out to make their own bouquets this week. After the fun of the fire and possible evacuation we really had too many flowers to let go to waste and wanted to make sure they got the enjoyment they deserved!
Thanks to all the amazing people who came out to give a go at making your own bouquets here and this is making us think a bit about doing this more often.
We are not able to make it again to this weeks Clearwater Farmer's Market due to prior commitments but we are again offering bouquet making at our farm the following week or we can drop off a bouquet to you if you are in the Clearwater area. Just tap the message button and let us know!
We wish you all an amazing weekend and hope those of you who have them enjoy your flowers!

P.S. The pictures here are some different arrangements I have been playing with in the meantime. The 1st picture are all brand new varieties of Dahlia's we grew from seed so, never existed before varieties. Hoping a few are spectacular enough to bring to market in the coming years.

After a few days away from our garden the growth has been a bit crazy! We have wayyyy too many beautys and we are up to our ears with blooms than we could possibly use up at the moment.

Our problem is your treasure! If would like to make your own big beautiful bouquet of flowers here is your chance!
Come up and for $15 create your own masterpiece here at the farm!
DM us if you are interested and in the Clearwater area!

We love our flowers here just as much as we do our kids. And when they show you the love back? There are no words for it.

Here's one of our new Zinnia's with a beautiful heart centre. Not a common occurence. Natural love at its best!

Just a note also that we will not be at this week or next weeks Clearwater Farmer's Market. This was a planned break for us unlike last weeks due to the Birch Island Fire.

If you are in need if a flower fix tho we can most definitely do some beautiful bouquets, arrangements or bunches of dahlias and zinnias for you during the week if you are in Clearwater area. Just message us!
