To the mama who feels like she’s been fighting the same uphill battle forever... I see you.

I know what it’s like to look at the scale or feel your energy levels and wonder if the effort is even worth it. When you’ve struggled with your weight and health for as long as you can remember, "fast results" feel like a myth, and "giving up" feels like the only easy option left.

But here is the truth I’m leaning into today: Slow progress is still progress.

If all you did today was drink an extra glass of water or take a five-minute walk between laundry loads, you are winning. We don’t have to be perfect; we just have to keep moving toward that ocean. You aren’t alone in this—I’m right there in the trenches with you. 🐢✨

I almost didn't post the photo on the left, but then I realized how much I would have missed out on the woman on the right. 🥹✨

It’s , and I’m reminding myself (and maybe you, too) that the scale is the least interesting thing about this journey. If I only looked at the numbers, I’d miss the entire story these photos are telling. 📸

The version of me on the left was just starting out, unsure and hiding. The version of me on the right? She’s found her smile again. She’s found her energy. And she’s finally comfortable in her own skin—and this hoodie!

Here are the wins the scale can't measure:

• The "Face Gains": Seeing my features—and my joy—sharpen and brighten.
• The Energy: No longer just "getting through" the day, but actually living it.
• The Fit: Feeling this hoodie fit exactly the way it was meant to.
• The Confidence: Having the courage to stand tall and truly smile for the camera.
Stop letting a number define your worth. Look at your progress, celebrate your consistency, and keep going. You are worth so much more than a measurement. 🫶💪

I thought I left the hormonal breakouts and "period surprises" back in the 90s, but perimenopause clearly had other plans. 🙄

It is such a strange, silent season of life. One day you’re fine, and the next you’re navigating grey hairs and chin acne at the exact same time. It feels like a second puberty, but this time with a bills, a career, and way less patience.

The truth is, our periods changing as we enter midlife isn’t just a "medical" shift—it’s a total lifestyle renovation. Between the erratic cycles, the brain fog, and the "why am I so tired?" feeling, it’s a lot to carry.
I’m sharing this photo—unfiltered and real—because we need to stop whispering about these hormonal shifts. If you feel like your body is currently going through a "system update" it didn’t ask for, I want you to know you aren’t alone.

Progress over perfection friends

I’m not 100% yet, but I’m making sure my hydration is! After struggling to keep up while being sick, I decided today’s only mission was hitting my water goal.

Currently sitting at 56% of my 81.8 oz goal. It’s not finished yet, but it’s a whole lot better than yesterday. Whether you’re on a weight loss journey or just trying to get through the week, don't forget to drink your water!💦

I’ve got 99 problems but a bun ain’t one. 🍔✨

Actually, this bowl is the solution to everything. I managed to keep this under 420 calories while packing in 41g of protein just by making two simple swaps:

1️⃣ Half the cheese (you honestly don’t even notice!).
2️⃣ Greek yogurt sauce > Mayo.
It’s basically a Big Mac’s overachieving, healthier cousin.
